The Children’s Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Center of Excellence (CORE Center of Excellence) is the first center in the region to attend to children suffering from conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. All bone and joint diseases, whether inborn or acquired are addressed at CORE Center of Excellence in a multidisciplinary approach and a passion for healing children.

At CORE Center of Excellence we believe that all resources need to be focused around the child.  Starting your journey with the first encounter at our welcoming reception, you will find all professionals highly skilled in managing pediatric patients in an often-intimidating clinic and hospital environment.

CORE Center of Excellence believes in a multispecialty approach. To address your child’s needs from every angle we have a team of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeons, Pediatric Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in our team. By including physicians from other medical specialties such as Pediatric Neurology, Pediatric Endocrinology and Pediatric Rheumatology we ensure the highest level of competency in the management of all diseases of the musculoskeletal system including the spine.

CORE Center of Excellence in embedded in the trusted system of Kings College Hospital London in Dubai Hills. Our radiology department is equipped with the newest technologies, allowing us the use the very first EOS System in the U.A.E. to obtain large x-ray images with a fraction of the exposure to radiation when compared to conventional imaging. The department also allows us to obtain MRI Images under General anesthesia for our very young patients

At CORE Center of Excellence we believe that surgery can only be the last resort and that all means of non-surgical treatment need to be exhausted prior to any invasive procedure. When dealing with children, timing of surgery can be of essence. Too early or too late surgery can lead to a less positive outcome. The understanding of the biology of a growing child or adolescent is hence important to identify the best timing for the individual treatment. Of course prevention and early detection are key elements to avoid more extensive treatment in the future. Our Center offers multiple screening programs such as the baby hip screening program and scoliosis screening of the spine.
