Daniela is  highly experienced in the assessment and treatment of scoliosis and other spinal deformities in children, certified in Schroth therapy and committed to evidence-based practice. She continues to expand her training and knowledge in all areas of paediatrics with further interest in premature infants and the treatment of paediatric  musculoskeletal conditions. She is Registered/Licensed Physiotherapist with the DHA and with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) in the UK.

After graduating in 1998, Daniela worked in a large Hospital in Curitiba, Brazil. In 2000 she moved to the UK where she worked as a physiotherapist at Addenbrookes Hospital and Papworth Hospital in Cambridge, experiencing all areas of physiotherapy.  In 2007 Daniela moved to Dubai with her family and has been practicing as a paediatric physiotherapist in outpatient and in-patient settings.

Daniela has over 10 years of experience as a paediatric physiotherapist registered with the Dubai Health Authority. Her main area of focus at the Children’s Orthopaedic And Rehabilitation Centre of Excellence (CORE) located at King’s Hospital Dubai is as a Paediatric physiotherapist working on scoliosis screening at schools and the treatment of spinal conditions in children and adolescents.
