Nawvi graduated in Physiotherapy and completed her Post Graduate studies in Early Intervention from India. She worked in a National Institute for Rehabilitation for 5 years as Research Fellow and has published a hand book for parents on Visual Stimulation Activities for Children (0 to 3 years).

Nawvi has an experience of 20+ years in Early Intervention and has been involved in assessment, intervention, evaluation and designing home training program for children with Developmental Delay, Developmental Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Spina bifida, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, Downs Syndrome, paediatric orthopaedic conditions and Muscular Dystrophy.

She worked as an Early Interventionist in a multi-speciality hospital for 12 years in India. She has worked with the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and was involved in Discharge Counselling and High Risk Clinic. She provides evaluation and therapeutic support for pre term babies right from birth. She provides parent and care-giver counselling and guidance regarding home programme and use of Orthosis. 

She believes in multi-disciplinary team work for holistic development of the child and works towards integrating the child in home/school environment. 

She holds a certification in Sensory Integration from University of South California and WPS, USA (USC/WPS Sensory Integration Certification #5116).

She has completed the advance training course on “Prechtl’s Method on the Qualitative Assessment of General Movements”.
