COMPLIMENTARY SECOND OPINION FOR SURGICAL PROCEDURES
As a Pediatric Centre specialized in the treatment of orthopaedic conditions, we understand that surgery for a child can be concerning news to many parents. Often, it is reassuring to obtain further opinions and to confirm the need for the suggested procedure. The CORE Second Opinion Program is directed towards families with children requiring orthopaedic surgery. Our extensively experienced, world-class paediatric orthopaedic consultants do offer a complimentary second opinion when it comes to surgery.
Should your child have been diagnosed with an orthopaedic condition such as scoliosis, hip dislocation, foot deformity or leg length discrepancy and require surgery this program will allow you to book a complimentary consultation at our centre.
We would ask you to bring all relevant diagnostic imaging with you as well as a letter stating the need for surgery in order to qualify for our complimentary service. We do hope that this will give you more confidence in the proposed treatment plan or possibly allow you to consider alternative treatment pathways. Imaging or blood tests are not included in this offer.
